Wow, I hadn't checked your blog in a while and Bam! Tons of new stuff! The fireplace thing can be scary. I'm still new with the house blog thing, but I think we're "folowing" you! Good luck with the downstairs. These pictures are great!

ReplyDeleteRegarding the insulation, I was looking into injectable options. Wanted closed cell foam but didn't find anyone local to do it- they would only do open cell. We spoke to a contractor that I really liked with a product called AirKrete, which sounds pretty interesting. It's more affordable, also. He will even let you DIY a bit to cut cost. Win-win!
